The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, cloud platforms, and security systems. This role ensures the stability, scalability, and security of IT systems to support business operations efficiently. The IT Infrastructure Manager will lead a team of IT professionals and collaborate with other departments to align IT strategies with business goals.
Infrastructure Management
- Design, implement, and manage the organization’s IT infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud-based solutions.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of IT systems and networks.
- Oversee server management, virtualization, storage solutions, and data center operations.
Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.

Network and Security
- Maintain and enhance network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless systems.
- Implement and manage cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability scans.
Respond to security incidents and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Cloud and Virtualization
- Manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid infrastructures.
- Oversee virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, and containerization solutions.
Optimize cloud usage and cost management.

Team Leadership & Vendor Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT infrastructure professionals.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, service providers, and consultants.
Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BC) plans.
- Conduct regular backup and recovery testing to ensure data integrity and availability.
Implement failover strategies for critical systems.

IT Governance & Compliance
- Ensure IT policies align with corporate governance and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001).
- Maintain documentation of IT processes, configurations, and security controls.
Support internal and external audits related to IT infrastructure.

- Plan and execute IT infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
- Coordinate with other IT teams and business units to implement new technologies.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for IT projects.
