Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Bread & Snack Cake Delivery & Merchandising Associate to join our team. This role involves delivering products to various retail locations, setting up and maintaining attractive product displays, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a focus on sales and merchandising. Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver bread and snack cakes to assigned retail stores
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products according to schedule
- Set up, restock, and maintain product displays to maximize sales potential
- Upsell products and promote new or promotional items to store staff and customers
- Manage pricing updates and ensure proper signage is displayed for all products
- Conduct inventory checks and assist with stock rotation to maintain freshness
- Provide exceptional customer service by building positive relationships with store personnel
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and merchandising areas
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules, product needs, and store feedback
Experience
- Prior experience in merchandising and commercial driving or delivery services is preferred
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to engage with retail staff and customers
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques to create appealing product displays
- Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the day
- Basic math skills for handling pricing, inventory counts, and order accuracy
- Strong organizational skills for managing delivery routes, schedules, and stock levels
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
