Job Description
CEDA is currently seeking experienced, self-motivated, responsible Hydrovac Driver/Operators to operate and maintain a variety of Hydrovac equipment and various specialty tools at our Regina location.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
-
Operate proficiently hydrovac equipment, high pressure water equipment and various specialty tools
-
Complete minor maintenance and checks on hydrovac equipment
-
Proficient in driving manual transmissions
-
90% of your day is outside of the truck, boots on the ground!
-
Provide guidance to Labourers as required
-
Ensure safety for all team members and property
-
Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
-
Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
-
Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports and safety documents
-
Strictly observe and enforce all company and client safety requirements
-
Challenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every time

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
Valid class 1A or 3A license with no more than 5 demerits in the last two years
-
2-3+ years of directly related work experience operating hydrovacs
-
Must pass a CEDA’s Driver Assessment in a manual transmission (10, 13 and 18 speed)
-
Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Skills:
-
Strong mechanical aptitude
-
You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
-
Experience and comfort with confined spaces.

Comfortable with the use of additional respiratory equipment and air supply; wearing a full face mask and carrying your own source of oxygen
-
You’re happiest working in a team, sharing a laugh with your coworkers and getting the job done safely
