Occasions By the Bay has been serving the Quinte region since 2001. We host weddings, parties, and corporate functions at our location in Bayside, Ontario. We also offer full service catering throughout the region. Most of the action happens from May to December but we operate year round. We need a couple of people to help our kitchen prepare, cook, and clean up at events. Our kitchen makes some great food and has a great time doing it.
Who is our ideal kitchen person? It could be anyone. You may be retired and looking to supplement your income or miss being part of a team. You may have left the service industry and miss the rush of service. Maybe you just want to get out and meet some new people or have always wondered what it’s like to work in a busy kitchen. Some of our best people had no previous kitchen experience but had a willingness to learn.
You will need a license because we’re located in Bayside.
The work is casual so you are only looking to supplement your existing income.
