Athletic Program Lead / Multidisciplinary Coach
Three Brother Academy
Three Brother Academy is looking for an energetic, organized, and experienced Athletic Program Lead to help guide and grow our school’s athletic programming.
This role is ideal for someone who loves working with kids, understands sport development, and can take ownership of a program from planning through delivery. Our athletic program is multidisciplinary, with a strong focus on intentional skill development in hockey and baseball, while also incorporating dryland training, movement, teamwork, leadership, and sport-specific learning.
We are looking for someone who can bring structure, creativity, and leadership to the role. This person will work alongside at least one other coach, but should be confident taking the reins, building out programming, communicating with families, and helping create a meaningful athletic experience for our students.
Key Responsibilities
The Athletic Program Lead will be responsible for:
Developing a yearly athletic plan that supports skill progression, confidence, teamwork, and age-appropriate athletic development
Leading and supporting hockey, baseball, dryland, and multidisciplinary sport programming
Working closely with at least one other coach to deliver consistent, engaging, and well-organized sessions
Creating structured practice plans and development goals for students
Recording and analyzing student performance through video, photos, and/or skill tracking where appropriate
Using video analysis to help students understand their movement, positioning, technique, and growth over time
Preparing updates and progress reports for parents throughout the year
Supporting parent communication around athletic goals, student progress, and program structure
Helping students build confidence, discipline, resilience, teamwork, and leadership through sport
Creating a positive, safe, and encouraging athletic environment
Supporting school-wide events, tournaments, showcases, or athletic demonstrations as needed
Helping shape the long-term vision of the Three Brother Academy athletic program
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who:
Has experience coaching children or youth in hockey, baseball, or multidisciplinary athletics
Is confident leading a program and taking initiative
Can create structure, plans, and progressions rather than simply “running drills”
Understands the importance of both skill development and character development
Is comfortable using video or other tools to support athlete feedback and growth
Communicates professionally with parents and staff
Works well as part of a team, but does not need to be micromanaged
Is organized, dependable, and able to follow through on planning and reporting
Brings positive energy and high standards to every session
Has a genuine passion for helping children grow through sport
Preferred Qualifications
Experience coaching hockey and/or baseball
Experience with youth athletic development, dryland training, or physical literacy
Comfort with video analysis or willingness to learn
First Aid/CPR certification considered an asset
NCCP or other coaching certifications considered an asset
Experience in a school, academy, camp, or youth development setting considered an asset
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role. We are not simply looking for someone to supervise gym time. We are looking for someone who can help build a thoughtful, intentional athletic program that reflects the values of Three Brother Academy.
The right person will be excited to work with students across different skill levels, help develop athletes over time, and communicate that growth clearly to families.
