Senior Automation & Controls Manager
We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation & Controls Manager with a minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in process industrial automation i.e.: Water Wastewater, Waste to Energy and Food and Beverages.
The successful candidate will provide strategic and technical leadership for automation initiatives, overseeing the execution of small to large scale industrial automation and controls projects from concept through commissioning. This role requires a proven ability to lead and mentor multidisciplinary technical teams, deliver complex projects on time and within budget, and build long term client relationships.
In addition to strong technical and leadership capabilities, the ideal candidate will possess an established network of industry contacts and a demonstrated track record in identifying business opportunities, developing client partnerships, and supporting the continued growth and success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Lead client meetings, project reviews, technical discussions, and presentations while developing and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective clients to identify new business opportunities.
- Design and develop industrial PLC control panels, including hardware selection, system architecture, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Develop and integrate PLC, HMI, SCADA, industrial networking, instrumentation, and equipment control systems.
- Lead technical teams and coordinate fabrication, installation, programming, and commissioning to ensure work is completed in accordance with approved designs and project requirements.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency with Allen Bradley ControlLogix and CompactLogix, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View, Siemens PLC platforms, SIMATIC WinCC, and Ignition SCADA.
