Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail oriented Office Administrator/Bookkeeper to join our Company. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing administrative tasks, recording financial data, and overseeing various office functions. This position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, high level communication and the ability to multitask.
Job duties
- Answer and respond to general phone inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Respond to general requests for information in an accommodating manner
- Receive clients/visitors in a professional manner
- Sort/prioritize/answer incoming mail, emails, messages and forward to appropriate staff
- Accounts receivable - Prepare customer invoices, record payments, some collections.
- Accounts payable - Record all payables and prepare payments to vendors
- Report payroll to payroll service
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings
- Code and file material according to the procedures
- Perform clerical duties such as scheduling appointments, and managing office supplies.
- Provide support to other staff
- Develop and maintain filing systems for documents, ensuring easy access and retrieval of information.
Job Requirements:
Education: Post-secondary education in a recognized accounting program, an accounting/bookkeeping certificate or diploma or business administration diploma or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
Experience:
2+ years bookkeeping (Quickbooks)
2+ years Administration
Proficient with Microsoft office, including intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
