Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant Level II to join our dynamic dental team. This role is vital in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the clinical operations of our practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with dental software Tracker. Experience in general dentistry, pediatrics, and familiarity with CAD technology will be considered advantageous. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies prior to appointments
- Take dental radiographs and Prime scans when required
- Manage patient records accurately using Tracker software systems
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols in compliance with industry standards
- Support procedures and assist with pediatric patient care as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
Experience
- Prior experience in dental assisting is preferred however will train a new grad if the proper candidate.
- Proficiency with dental software systems Tracker is essential
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology is highly desirable
- Experience working with CAD technology for imaging or modeling purposes is a plus
- Certification in dental assisting or related credentials are preferred but not mandatory if equivalent experience is demonstrated
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential for success in this role
Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
