Mulrooney’s Construction Limited, a construction company in Gander for over 30 years, is looking for carpenters who have experience with finishing work, basic framing knowledge and a great attitude!
This position is available for individuals who are enthusiastic about the trade with a strong work ethic. We are looking for hardworking, reliable and punctual people who can work with minimal supervision.
A cell phone and hand tools are necessary, as well as a vehicle and valid driver’s license - Our projects are in Gander and the surrounding area.

Job Responsibilities
· Be responsible for general carpentry duties
· Requisition and coordinate material, supplies and equipment
· Resolve work issues and recommend measures to improve productivity
Skills
· Talent to work well with customers, other trades people, and suppliers
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment
· Experienced in reading and interpreting blueprints
· Capacity to build, erect and dismantle forms for concrete or as needed
· Competent to determine specifications, measure, cut, assemble wood or similar materials on project sites, check accuracy of work and make adjustments as required
· Skilled to operate handheld and power tools and maintain awareness of safety procedures regarding your role and tools used
Qualifications
· At least 2 years experience in carpentry, concrete pouring or equivalent with references
· Knowledge of Residential Home/Garages and Commercial Projects or similar job site experience is considered an asset
· A valid driver’s license and transportation
· Physically capable or working on-site, lifting and moving equipment and supplies as necessary
· Willingness to work longer hours when necessary to deliver the project on time
