Position: Sales Dispatcher – FTL Cross-Border (USA-Canada)
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Position Summary
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Sales Dispatcher to join our team. This role combines sales and dispatch responsibilities, focusing on booking loads directly with customers and coordinating cross-border shipments. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and has a strong understanding of the trucking industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, negotiate, and secure FTL loads with new and existing customers
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business
- Actively manage and optimize pricing strategies to ensure the highest possible revenue per mile and minimize deadhead/empty miles.
- Strategically match freight with driver capacity and equipment availability, treating every truck movement as a crucial income stream.
- Provide dynamic, precise dispatch instructions, focusing on on-time performance which supports future sales opportunities and customer retention.
- Coordinate with drivers and carriers to ensure timely pickup and delivery
- Manage cross-border documentation and compliance requirements (Canada–USA)
- Monitor market trends to identify new sales opportunities
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues quickly
Qualifications
- Experience in freight sales, dispatch, FTL preferred Dry Van and Reefer
- Strong knowledge of cross-border shipping regulations and customs procedures
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency with TMS, Load Link ,and major 3PL/4PL Load Boards
