Title: Production Technician
Location: Brossard, QC
Status: Full-Time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly and production of our machines and fresh water stations
- Installation and piping of refrigeration circuits
- Brazing of copper-to-copper and copper-to-stainless-steel connections
- Performing pressure tests on refrigeration circuits
- Installation of heating-side piping within the systems
- Assembly and wiring of components according to technical documentation
- Conducting quality inspections and functional testing Refrigeration Work
- Evacuation (vacuuming) of refrigeration circuits
- Charging systems with refrigerant
- Carrying out required leak and safety tests
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable safety and environmental regulations when handling refrigerants Commissioning and Service
- Supporting the initial commissioning of company’s machines
- Performing functional and performance tests
- Assisting with service and maintenance activities
- When required, carrying out commissioning and service assignments directly at customer sites Support in Building the Production Site
- Assisting in establishing production and warehouse operations
- Supporting the organization and optimization of workflows
- Contributing to the implementation of quality and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Completed vocational training as a Refrigeration Technician, Refrigeration Mechanic, Refrigeration Systems Installer, or a comparable technical qualification
- Solid knowledge of refrigeration technology as well as the assembly and commissioning of refrigeration and heat pump systems
- Proven practical experience in building refrigeration circuits
- Excellent brazing skills for copper-to-copper and copper-to-stainless-steel connections
- Experience conducting pressure tests, leak tests, and quality inspections on refrigeration circuits
- Certification or qualification for handling refrigerants in accordance with applicable Québec and/or Canadian regulations
- Existing or obtainable qualification as a Refrigeration Mechanic / Frigoriste or corresponding Québec certification considered an advantage
- Knowledge of hydraulics, heating systems, and control technology
- Basic electrical knowledge; additional electrical qualifications or certifications are considered an asset
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and digital documentation) Personal Attributes

- One month of training in Switzerland (September)
- One month of training in Germany (October)
