Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Agricultural Truck Driver - Class 1 to join our farm. This role involves safely operating commercial vehicles to transporting grain, farming equipment and maintaining high safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with heavy equipment, and a commitment to operational excellence. Duties
- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks for the transportation of freight across designated routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including delivery logs, manifests, and other required paperwork.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance and repairs, including automotive repairs when necessary, to ensure optimal operation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit.
- Operate heavy equipment safely when required for loading or unloading freight.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to speak and write English.
- At least 2 years experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high safety standards.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks associated with loading/unloading freight.
This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency of our logistics operations while prioritizing safety and professionalism at all times.
Pay: $4,500.00-$5,500.00 per month
