Brantwood Community Services is looking to fill a current opening in our Housekeeping department!
We are an accredited, non-profit, community-based organization delivering high quality supports to transitional-aged youth and adults with a developmental disability. Job Requirements:
Upkeep of facilities including:
- Cleaning bathrooms, offices, hallways, kitchens, meeting and activity rooms by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and polishing
- Empty and clean trash containers
- Dusting of desks, furniture and other office fixtures
- Mixing or blending routine cleaning solutions to proper concentration levels
- Clean, strip and polish floors using buffing machines
- Maintain equipment used
- Wash and spot clean windows and walls
- Other related duties as assigned
- General knowledge of housekeeping equipment an asset.
- Team oriented, with demonstrated positive problem-solving abilities
- Work with minimal supervision
- Adherence to Health and Safety regulations including reporting/addressing safety hazards
- Effective, positive communication skills.
Successful Applicants will be required to provide:
- Police Vulnerable Sector Screening Check
- Proof of Valid G Drivers Licence
- Brantwood Pre-Employment Health form
- Proof of current Emergency First Aid & CPR/AED (Level A) certification
- Proof of educational qualifications (high school diploma)
