Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Caterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality food services for various events and functions. This role requires excellent customer service skills, physical stamina, and the ability to operate warehouse equipment safely. The Caterer will play a key role in ensuring clients receive exceptional service while maintaining efficient operations across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, assemble, and serve food and beverages according to event specifications and health standards
- Load, unload, and transport catering supplies using moving equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Set up catering stations, including tables, linens, utensils, and presentation displays
- Deliver catering orders to clients, ensuring timely and professional service
- Assist with heavy lifting of supplies and equipment to facilitate smooth event execution
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and catering stations before, during, and after events
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently during setup and cleanup processes
- Drive commercial vehicles as needed for transportation of supplies or food items
Qualifications
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or catering services is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly (up to 50 pounds or more)
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery is a plus
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact with clients professionally
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or relevant driving experience is desirable
- Good physical stamina with the ability to move quickly and efficiently during event setups and breakdowns
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to moving equipment and warehouse operations
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
