Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest services, ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with strong communication and multitasking skills. The Server will play a vital role in creating a positive atmosphere for our guests and supporting the overall operation of the restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
- Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties with accuracy and efficiency
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including table setup and breakdown
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
- Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally to ensure satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle food safely and adhere to sanitation standards
- Excellent time management skills to serve multiple tables effectively
- Food handling certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire is desirable
- Experience in food industry roles such as serving, hospitality, or kitchen work is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
Pay: $18.25 per hour
