Automotive Mechanic (Licensed or Apprentice)
Location: Niagara Falls, ON

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Weekend availability may be required)
Compensation: Starting at approximately $ 25-35.00/hour (based on experience) or up to 30% commission on completed work for high-performing technicians.
Job Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join their busy automotive service centre. We are looking for a skilled and dependable individual who is passionate about vehicle repair and maintenance. Both licensed mechanics (310S) and experienced mechanics without a license are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on a wide range of vehicles.
- Perform vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs.
- Complete brake, suspension, steering, and drivetrain repairs.
- Perform engine diagnostics, tune-ups, and general maintenance.
- Repair and replace components including alternators, starters, batteries, radiators, water pumps, and timing components.
- Perform oil changes, tire services, alignments, and preventive maintenance.
- Use diagnostic scanners and specialized automotive tools.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure repairs meet industry standards.
- Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Automotive Mechanic or Automotive Service Technician.
- Licensed 310S Automotive Service Technician is an asset but not required.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and repair tools.
- Experience working on domestic and import vehicles is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license is considered an asset.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
