The Maintenance Lead is responsible for coordinating and monitoring CMMS process workflow activities ensure timely and accurate processing in accordance to internal policies, procedures, work instructions and performance requirements. Ensures adherence to policies and procedures ensuring data integrity, quality planning, and KPI work order metrics are achieved by team. Act as the on-site contact for the manager.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintenance Coordinator duties and responsibilities (2/3 of time)
Equipment Data Collection & Maintenance
- Maintains and updates equipment data base and preventative maintenance program.
- Provides data collection procedures, forms and checklists to support data inputs into service maintenance management database.
- Provides suggestions and assists with improvement of relevant procedures and resources.
- Provides quality and efficient asset based preventative maintenance program.
- Asset grouping of like equipment for coordinated maintenance.
Work Orders
- Provides monitoring and reporting for PM work order performance and adherence to service delivery.
- Advises management team of issues, concerns or noncompliance to standard.
Preventative Maintenance Scheduling
- Creates preventative maintenance schedules based on assets.
- Reviews and updates work schedules taking into consideration factors including but not limited to current workload and geographical proximity to facilities or specific site conditions.
- Generates reports to review Technician workload with team and managers.
- Provides resource allocation recommendations to assist with optimizing resource utilization.
Job Plan Documentation
- Liaises with relevant stakeholders to gather work procedures in order to prepare and/or maintain related job plans.
- Provides suggestions on applicable job plans based on asset or job requirements.
Reporting
- Generates data and prepares various reports to managers and team.
- Reviews reports and communicates observations and recommendations to operations team.
End User Training
- Provides training to CMMS end users.
- Other duties as assigned.
In addition to all the duties and responsibilities of a Maintenance Coordinator, Maintenance Lead’s responsibilities include: (1/3 of time)
- Lead a team of individual team members.
- Assigns, prioritizes and monitor work progress to ensure completion and adherence to timeliness, quality standards and other related requirements.
- Review work for completeness and accuracy.
- Guides, coaches and trained other team members.
- Provides input for performance review.
- Manage team member attendance.
- Act as the on-site contact for manager.
- Lead and influence the optimization of maintenance performance.
- Community college diploma or equivalent training (e.g. RPA, CET).
- More than one year in a CMMS or related role.
- 1 to 3 years of facility services administration work experience.
- Possess people management skills.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others for the purpose of data exchange, clarification and follow up.
Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation
This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $54,185 - $67,732 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role.
