Camco Electric is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Electrical Foreman to join our team.
This is a key leadership position within our company. We are looking for someone who is driven, ambitious, detail-oriented, and able to lead a crew with confidence. The right person will take ownership of their projects, communicate well with the office and field teams, and help us deliver clean, organized, high-quality electrical work.
As an Electrical Foreman, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, supervising apprentices and journeypersons, coordinating with general contractors and other trades, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to code.

Responsibilities
- Lead, organize, and supervise a crew of electricians and apprentices
- Plan daily and weekly work to keep projects moving efficiently
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and electrical plans
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, consultants, and other trades
- Ensure installations meet the Canadian Electrical Code and project requirements
- Track materials, tools, deficiencies, and site progress
- Assist with material take-offs, layouts, and project planning
- Maintain a clean, organized, and productive job site
- Complete daily reports, time tracking, safety paperwork, and site documentation
- Mentor apprentices and help develop the next generation of electricians
- Promote a strong safety culture and lead by example
Qualifications
- Valid Manitoba Journeyperson Electrician Licence
- Red Seal certification is considered an asset
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Foreman, Lead Hand, or senior field leader
- Strong knowledge of commercial, multifamily, or residential electrical construction
- Ability to read blueprints and coordinate work from drawings
- Strong understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Comfortable using phones, tablets, or digital reporting software
- Ability to plan ahead, solve problems, and keep a crew productive
- Must be reliable, professional, and team-focused
