Pool Maintenance Technician: Part-Time, Seasonal (Niagara Region)
Pool-Ease is a growing residential pool service company serving the Niagara Region, specializing in openings, closings, and weekly maintenance for a loyal base of homeowners who expect their pools handled right. We've built our reputation on reliability and clean, professional service, and we're adding to the team to keep it that way as we grow.
We're looking for a part-time pool maintenance technician who takes pride in doing the small things properly. Heavy repair work & the complex jobs are not apart of this role. Your role is the routine, customer-facing side: keeping pools clean, balanced, and swim-ready, and leaving every property exactly as you found it. The right person is reliable, detail-oriented, with strong customer relation skills.
What you'll do
- Perform weekly maintenance: skimming, vacuuming, brushing, emptying baskets, water testing and chemical balancing
- Handle one-time cleans and green-pool recoveries
- Leave every site tidy. Hoses coiled and stored, baskets replaced, gates and shed doors closed, equipment put back. This is non-negotiable and a core part of the job, not an afterthought.
- Log completed work, notes, and photos in our field app (ServiceM8, training provided)
- Be friendly and professional on-site. Direct any repair or billing questions back to the office rather than answering on the spot
What we're looking for
- Attention to detail. You notice the small stuff and you don't leave loose ends
- Reliability and punctuality, arriving on time and letting customers know when you're arriving
- A clean, professional manner with homeowners
- Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet in summer conditions
- Valid G licence and a reliable vehicle
- Some pool experience. Professional work isn't required.
Hours & pay
- $25/hour
- Starts light (roughly 5–20 hours/week) and ramps up through the season toward our busy fall closing period (September-October). Spring cleanups from April-June are extremely busy, with longer hours.
- Flexible scheduling. Well-suited to a student, semi-retired person, or anyone looking for steady part-time work that grows
- Strong potential for expanded hours and a returning role next season as we scale
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Benefits:
Experience:
- pool service: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Ontario Drivers License (required)
Location:
- St. Catharines, ON (preferred)
Work Location: On the road
