Duties
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials.
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as framing, carpentry, and basic demolition.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to support accurate project execution.
- Support skilled tradespeople with tasks including plumbing, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, and restoration work.
- Perform construction painting and caulking to ensure finishes meet quality standards.
- Help with installation of flooring and tiles, ensuring proper alignment and adherence.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and site safety procedures.
Experience
- Previous construction experience is highly preferred; familiarity with various trades is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery used in construction environments.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support project accuracy.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures.
- Experience working with carpentry, restoration projects, or plumbing is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
