Commodity Movement Coordinator

We are looking for an energetic professional experienced in overseeing a wide range of transportation and coordination tasks as well as the ability to work independently with little or no supervision. Must be well organized, detail oriented, flexible and enjoys the challenges of domestic transportation.
Core Responsibilities
- Logistics & Dispatch: Coordinating daily trucking or rail to ensure materials move efficiently between suppliers, warehouses, and clients.
- Inventory Monitoring: Monitors inventory levels across the warehouse for assigned commodities and anticipates sales order volumes against them, escalating critical shortages to prevent operational down time.
- Contract Execution: Executing supply contracts within contract periods with daily contact with farmers.
- Documentation: Managing critical transportation documents, such as bills of lading, and compliance records.
- Discount Schedules: track and communicate discount schedules to farmers.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business, or Economics.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in agricultural administration, commodity trading, or grain accounting.
- Technical Proficiencies: Strong Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and experience with commodity/ERP tracking systems.
- Skills: Communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with farmers, extreme attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, extreme attention to detail
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of grain markets, agricultural supply chains
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
