Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Screen Printing Operator to join our dynamic production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating screen printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, color management, and printing techniques to ensure the final product meets our quality standards. The Screen Printing Operator will collaborate closely with the design team and production staff to bring creative concepts to life through precise printing processes.
This position can evolve into a managerial position for the screen printing department. the operator has a very healthy room to grow within the company.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate screen printing machinery for various projects, ensuring accurate color matching and registration.
- Prepare screens, inks, and substrates according to project specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the printing process to minimize downtime.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the printing area and equipment.
- Collaborate with designers to review artwork files, ensuring compatibility with printing requirements.
- Adjust print settings based on material type, ink consistency, and desired effects.
- Conduct quality checks on printed materials to ensure color accuracy, alignment, and overall print quality.
- Maintain detailed records of production runs, materials used, and any adjustments made during the process.
Experience
- Prior experience in screen printing or related graphic arts fields is preferred.
