Position Overview
The Construction Foreman will help manage the day-to-day operations and execution of work on site by ensuring the job is completed efficiently, safely and up to the required quality and plans.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead teams, assign tasks, and keep the crew productive.
· Ensure work is installed according to drawings, specs and contract documents.
· Maintain workmanship standards and catch issues before they become problems.
· Enforce safety rules, PPE, and safe work practices on site.
· Work closely with the Site Supervisor and Project Manager to align daily work with the schedule.
· Handle on-site issues quickly (layout conflicts, material issues, sequencing).
· Keep work moving efficiently and manage labour output.
· Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are available and used properly.
Qualifications & Experience
· +5 years of experience in construction
· Valid G License with clean record (A restricted is a bonus)
· Heavy equipment operations
· Strong understanding of drawings and layouts
· Ability to do physically demanding tasks periodically such as: rough/fine grading, installation of interlocking stone, retaining walls, forming and pouring concrete
Preferred Assets
· Multilingual – English, Portuguese, Spanish
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
