The Hair Stylist will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while maintaining salon cleanliness and promoting retail products.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling according to client preferences
- Deliver exceptional customer service by listening to clients’ needs and offering personalized recommendations
- Maintain strict sanitation and cleanliness standards in all work areas and tools to ensure client safety
- Upsell retail products to enhance clients’ hair care routines and increase salon revenue
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and salon services through ongoing education
- Aesthetician tasks including threading, waxing, laser hair removal.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients
- Experience in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and styling is REQUIRED.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols within a salon environment
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently to enhance client experience and salon sales
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and team members
- Experience in retail sales within a salon setting is preferred
- Front desk experience is a plus, including appointment management and payment processing
