Augury Healthcare is currently seeking experienced Obstetrics Registered Nurses for travel nursing assignments across Newfoundland and Labrador.
This opportunity is ideal for Registered Nurses with strong Canadian experience in Obstetrics, Labour and Delivery, maternal-newborn care, and acute clinical environments. Successful candidates will support healthcare teams in communities across Newfoundland and Labrador while providing safe, compassionate, and competent patient care.
Candidates should be comfortable working in fast-paced clinical settings, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting patients and families throughout the childbirth and postpartum care journey.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer competitive compensation options for qualified candidates:
Option 1:
$77.00 per hour plus $150.00 daily stipend
Option 2:
$88.00 per hour plus $75.00 per worked day
Additional benefits include:
- Shared accommodation provided
- Please note that solo or private accommodation is not available
- Flight reimbursement up to $1,500 roundtrip
- Economy Flex fare eligible for reimbursement

Requirements
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Active Newfoundland and Labrador Registered Nurse license
- Minimum 2 years of Canadian Obstetrics or Labour and Delivery experience
- Strong clinical experience in OBS, Labour and Delivery, or maternal-newborn care
- Ability to work in fast-paced clinical environments
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- Availability for the full duration of the assignment
- EPIC proficiency is preferred

Key Responsibilities
As an Obstetrics Registered Nurse, responsibilities may include:
- Provide safe, competent, and compassionate patient care in Obstetrics and Labour and Delivery settings
- Monitor maternal and fetal health
- Perform maternal, fetal, newborn, and postpartum assessments
- Support patients and families throughout labour, delivery, and postpartum care
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Respond effectively to urgent and changing clinical situations
- Follow facility policies, procedures, and professional practice standards
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient documentation
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Support safe transitions of care and patient education as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent Obstetrics or Labour and Delivery experience
- Experience in rural, regional, or travel nursing assignments
- Experience with maternal-newborn care, postpartum care, and fetal monitoring
- EPIC experience
- Strong adaptability when working in new clinical environments
