Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment to ensure smooth restaurant operations. This role is essential in supporting our culinary team and providing a clean, safe environment for food preparation and service. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and storage areas
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and cleaning workspaces
- Ensure all health and safety standards are met by adhering to sanitation procedures
- Support the kitchen staff during busy periods by efficiently managing dishware turnover
- Properly dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with restaurant policies
- Restock supplies such as clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools to ensure availability for staff
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with basic kitchen operations and food handling practices is advantageous
- Experience with food preparation or cooking can be beneficial but is not mandatory
- Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene standards is essential
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food service and hospitality operations
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
