Birchview Excavating is looking for a motivated and reliable Labourer to join our growing team. We specialize in excavation, site servicing, septic systems, and residential and commercial construction projects throughout the region.
Responsibilities
- Assist with excavation and site preparation projects.
- Cut, place, and install stone for various landscaping and construction applications.
- Operate a skid steer and other small equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform grading, backfilling, and material handling tasks.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
- Assist equipment operators and crew members as required.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience cutting and placing stone is required.
- Experience operating a skid steer and other small machinery.
- Previous excavation, construction, or landscaping experience is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Experience with site servicing, septic systems, or heavy equipment is considered an asset.
