Job Description
As HealthPRO Canada continues to grow through the addition of new members, suppliers, and strategic partnerships, the Finance team is expanding to support the increasing operational demands of the department. We are seeking a Finance Coordinator who is looking to further develop their analytical skills, gain hands-on experience with different enabling tools, and take on meaningful responsibility within the team.
In this role, the successful candidate will manage key aspects of the Pharmacy Finance portfolio, which will transition from the Director of Revenue Analysis. This provides an opportunity to gain exposure to an important area of the business, take ownership of core processes, and contribute to the team’s ongoing operational excellence, while enabling the Director to focus on strategic priorities and process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Review supplier sales reports ensuring sales and rebates are accurately calculated.
- Identify gaps or issues in reported sales and rebate data and calculated figures.
- Track supplier sales reports and rebate payments.
- Maintain and balance sales and rebate data vs. payment and perform accurate account management.
- Prepare and update quarterly forecasting files.
- Audit supplier reported sales vs. member purchase data.
- Assist in accounting and other financial tasks as required
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (critically important) and other Microsoft Suite programs.
- Relevant post-secondary education with 1-3 years of related employment experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Familiarity with tables, databases, and handling huge volumes of data is a strong asset.
- Results-oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and timelines with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills to effectively handle multiple and competing priorities and timelines.
- High level of professionalism and strong mathematical and business sense.
- Capable of working both independently and in a team environment, with minimal supervision.
- Experience in SQL, Power BI, Power Pivot and/or Power Query in Excel is an asset.
