THE OPPORTUNITY
TerraVest Parts & Supply is looking for a proven General Manager to own and grow our LPG parts distribution business across Western Canada. This is a rare opportunity — you are not starting from scratch.
You will inherit an established customer base, existing distribution agreements with key manufacturers, and a network of truck and trailer service and parts locations already operating across four provinces under the Advance Tank Centers and Maxfield brands. Your job is to unlock their full potential, capture a greater share of our customers' spend, and build a team that makes TerraVest Parts & Supply the go-to LPG parts distributor in Western Canada.

You will also have cross-functional support from our full family of companies including Advance Tank Centers, Maxfield, Pro-Par, Mississippi Tank, Signature Truck Systems, Jarco, and TerraVest Tanks.
YOUR ROLE
As General Manager, you will own the full P&L for the LPG parts distribution division across Western Canada. This is a true leadership role with real accountability and real upside.
Business Leadership
- Full P&L ownership for the LPG distribution division
- Set and execute the growth strategy across Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba
- Build pricing strategy and manage margins
- Develop KPIs and hold the team accountable to results
People & Culture
- Hire, train, and develop a high-performance sales team from the ground up
- Build a culture of accountability and customer obsession
- Coach regional managers and inside sales reps
- Partner with existing branch leadership across our location network
Sales & Customer Growth
- Grow wallet share with existing propane marketer, rental companies and dealer accounts
- Expand into NH3 retailer accounts across the prairies
- Identify and close new distribution opportunities across the region
- Manage and maximize our key manufacturer distribution agreements
Operations
- Oversee inventory management and fill rates across the network
- Coordinate logistics across the Western Canada footprint
- Work cross-functionally with TerraVest sister companies to maximize group capabilities
- Deliver service levels that set us apart from the competition
WHO YOU ARE
- A proven leader with experience in LPG, propane, NH3, or related energy and distribution industries
- Comfortable owning a P&L and making decisions that matter
- A builder — you have grown teams, opened markets, and won business that was not easy to win
- Deeply connected in the Western Canadian propane, energy, or agricultural sector
- Able to manage the big picture while staying close enough to the customer to make a difference
- Willing to travel across Alberta, BC, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba
- Energized by competition — you understand this market, you know who the players are, and you know how to win
