Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines such as CNC lathes, milling machines. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge to produce high-quality precision parts. The CNC Machinist will ensure that all machining processes adhere to safety standards and quality specifications, contributing to efficient production workflows.
Duties
- Operate and program CNC equipment including CNC lathes, milling machines, and CNC milling machines using Master CAM software such as SolidWorks.
- Set up machines with appropriate tooling, fixtures, and workpieces according to blueprints and technical drawings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine machining requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery and troubleshoot issues related to Fanuc controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments to ensure parts meet precise specifications.
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout the manufacturing process to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Operate forklifts when necessary for material handling within the warehouse or production area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery including CNC lathe, CNC milling machine.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages and software such as Master CAM tools like SolidWorks.
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and basic machine troubleshooting.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics accurately.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in machining, welding, assembly, and use of hand tools.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precision manufacturing.
- Experience with quality control procedures using calipers and other measurement tools.
- Warehouse experience preferred for material handling tasks including forklift operation.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including packaging and inventory management is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards in a fast-paced environment
