Job Description
Shingletown Roofing & Exteriors is a locally owned and family-operated roofing company proudly serving the Kitchener-Waterloo region and surrounding communities. We specialize in residential roofing, exterior renovations, and premium customer service.
We are currently seeking a motivated, reliable General Labourer interested in growing within the roofing and exterior industry. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working outdoors, and being part of a hardworking team environment.
While this position will begin with general labour responsibilities, there is a strong opportunity for the right candidate to grow into a Roofing Installer position over time.
Responsibilities
- Assist with roof replacements and exterior projects
- Carry and load roofing materials safely
- Job site setup and cleanup
- Assist installers and crew leads during projects
- Operate basic hand and power tools
- Maintain a clean and professional work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Must have your own reliable vehicle for transportation to and from job sites
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labour
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Assets (Not Mandatory)
- Roofing or construction experience
- Working at Heights certification
- Experience using ladders, harnesses, and fall protection equipment
- Experience with roofing, siding, soffit, fascia, or eavestrough work

Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime available during peak season
- Seasonal full-time
Pay
$18.00–$25.00 per hour
(Based on experience and certifications. This starting pay range may also increase depending on experience and capabilities.)
