We are growing — and we're looking for a seasoned carpenter who brings the same standards we do.
Job Overview
We need a skilled Journeyman Carpenter with at least 10+years of experience who can work independently and lead by example on residential and commercial job sites. This is a hands-on position with room to grow as we expand into a second crew. You'll be a core part of how we build — and how we look to our clients.
Duties
- Framing, forming, and finishing on custom home builds and large-scale renovations
- Commercial TI carpentry: framing, doors, millwork, and interior build-outs
- Reading and working from architectural drawings and specs
- Coordinating with site superintendent and subtrades to maintain schedule
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times
- Identifying issues early and communicating them to the team
Skills
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks
- Experience with a wide range of hand tools and power tools
- Flexibility to work on various projects ranging from small repairs to large construction endeavours
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of carpentry experience in residential and/or commercial construction
- Journeyman Carpenter certification (Red Seal preferred)
- Strong knowledge of BC Building Code and WorkSafeBC requirements
- Ability to read blueprints and work from detailed plans
- Reliable, self-directed, and takes ownership of your work
- Valid BC driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Own hand tools required; larger power tools and equipment provided
