Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Harvest Labourer to join our farm team for the harvest season. This is a temporary seasonal position starting August 1 and is expected to run for approximately 6–8 weeks.
The successful applicant will assist with harvest operations and general farm duties. Previous farm or harvest experience is considered an asset, but we are willing to train the right person. A Class 1 driver’s licence would be considered a strong asset.
Responsibilities
Duties may include:
- Assisting with harvest operations
- General farm labour and yard work
- Operating or assisting with farm equipment, depending on experience
- Loading, unloading, and moving grain or materials as needed
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas
- Helping with daily harvest preparation and cleanup
- Following safety procedures and instructions
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Farm or harvest experience is an asset
- Class 1 driver’s licence would be considered an asset
- Valid driver’s licence preferred
- Ability to work long hours during busy harvest periods
- Physically able to lift, bend, and perform manual labour
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
