About the Role
Paragon Signature Builders is a full-service custom construction and renovation company serving Revelstoke, Galena Bay, Trout Lake, Beaton, Nakusp and the broader BC Interior. We are growing and looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter / Working Foreman to join our team and lead field operations across diverse residential and commercial projects.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, leads by example, and thrives in a remote and rural build environment.

Duties
- Lead and supervise construction crews, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution
- Oversee framing, roofing, siding, concrete forming, and rebar installation to ensure structural integrity
- Manage finishing work including flooring, tile, cabinetry, and woodworking with precision and attention to detail
- Coordinate renovation projects including drywall, painting, caulking, and general repairs
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively
- Conduct regular site inspections and enforce safety protocols
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep projects moving
- Mentor and support junior team members to build skills across trades
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of residential carpentry experience
- Proven leadership experience on construction sites
- Strong skills in framing, renovations, siding, or roofing
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation
- Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing for troubleshooting and minor repairs
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients, crew, and vendors
- Valid driver's license
- Someone who leads by example and takes pride in the quality of their work
