Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/woman Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems, construction practices, and mechanical systems. This role involves installing plumbing infrastructure in commercial and residential settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects utilizing advanced tools and schematics, contributing to high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. We use BIM modeling for all of our work as well.
Duties
- Install plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in new construction
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute installations
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to complete tasks efficiently and safely
- Collaborate with other trades and subtrades
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
Qualifications
- Valid Red Seal ticket
- Proven experience in plumbing installation in commercial or residential environments
- Strong mechanical knowledge including familiarity with HVAC systems, schematics, blueprints reading, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques
- Knowledge of construction practices, carpentry basics, assembly processes, and schematics interpretation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments for extended periods
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while adhering to safety protocols
Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
