The Flowr Group (Okanagan) Inc. is an 80,000 sq.ft. cannabis cultivation facility based in Lake Country, British Columbia. The Flowr Group (Okanagan) Inc. is a subsidiary of Avant Brands K1, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Avant Brands (and GreenTec Holdings Ltd.).
Job Description
· To package cannabis in accordance with packaging instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements,
· Maintain and operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner,
· Assist in completing documentation required in a timely manner,
· Correctly identify and handle packaging materials,
· Report any deviations found to your direct supervisor,
· Assist with quality and cleanliness of the facility,
· Assist with the inspecting of equipment and work area for cleanliness, safety, and proper set up prior to the packaging operation,
· Follow and adhere to all given instructions including work procedures,
· Strictly adhere to and observe all safety policies as outlined in the company policies,
· Maintain accurate records of product to ensure product identification and quality control,
· Other packaging duties as assigned.
Required Job Skills
· Have strong attention to detail.
· Desire to learn with a positive attitude.
· Ability to follow direction and stay on task.
· Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
· Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods of time, walk up and down stairs several times a day, and perform repetitive tasks.
· Reliable and punctual
· Preferred but not necessary, previous experience in a general production facility is an asset.
· Excellent personal hygiene
