Job Description
We are looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented individual to maintain a clean, comfortable, and well-managed household. The primary focus of this role is housekeeping and home organization, with some daytime companionship and light support for an elderly gentleman in the home while his son is at work.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized home environment
- Perform general housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, tidying, and organizing
- Assist with household upkeep and daily home management tasks
- Prepare and reheat simple meals as needed
- Feed and care for household pets when required (dogs and a cat in the home)
- Provide friendly companionship and occasional supervision for an 89-year-old gentleman
- Encourage hydration, light movement, and general daily comfort
- Assist with light, non-medical personal support if needed
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Experience with senior care or companionship is an asset
- Reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Comfortable around animals
- References required
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
