About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Executive with experience in Point of Sale (POS) solutions to join our growing sales team in Brampton, Canada. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of POS systems, payment processing, and retail technology, along with excellent sales and relationship-building skills. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, conducting product demonstrations, and closing sales with retail, restaurant, and hospitality businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities across Brampton and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
- Sell POS software, hardware, payment processing, and related business solutions.
- Conduct product presentations and live demonstrations for prospective clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with restaurants, retail stores, grocery stores, salons, clinics, and hospitality businesses.
- Understand customer business requirements and recommend suitable POS solutions.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and negotiate pricing with clients.
- Maintain accurate sales records using CRM software.
- Coordinate with the technical implementation team for smooth onboarding.
- Follow up with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor products, and emerging retail technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in POS systems, payment solutions, SaaS, or retail technology.
- Strong knowledge of POS software, payment terminals, inventory management, and merchant services.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Valid G Driver's License and willingness to travel within the GTA.
Preferred Experience
- Experience selling POS solutions such as Clover, Square, Lightspeed, Moneris, TouchBistro, Shopify POS, Revel, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of payment gateways, merchant accounts, and card processing.
- Experience working with retail, restaurant, or hospitality businesses.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho CRM.
