Food Trailer Driver / Cashier or Cook (Full-Time)Job Overview
Holy Taco is looking for a reliable, energetic, and customer-focused Food Trailer Driver / Cashier or Cook to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers, and being part of exciting events throughout Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.
Depending on your experience, you will either:
- Drive the food trailer and prepare food, or
- Drive the food trailer and work as the cashier, providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities
- Safely drive the food trailer to and from event locations while following all traffic laws and safety regulations. ( Class 5 driver license required)
- Set up and prepare the trailer before service.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service by taking orders and processing cash, debit, and credit card payments.
- Operate the restaurant POS system accurately.
- Prepare and cook menu items according to Holy Taco recipes and food safety standards (Cook position).
- Handle food safely while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented to our quality standards.
- Keep the trailer, cooking equipment, and workstations clean and organized throughout the shift.
- Restock ingredients and supplies and communicate inventory needs to management.
- Assist with opening, closing, event setup, and cleanup.
Qualifications
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience.
- Previous experience in food service, customer service, cashiering, or restaurant operations is an asset but not required, we are happy to train the right person.
- Experience handling cash and operating a POS system is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation, food handling, and sanitation practices is an asset.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
