Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Worker to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, including site preparation, paving, and the operation of heavy equipment. Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing and leveling land for construction projects
- Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, and bulldozers under supervision
- Perform paving tasks using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure quality surfaces
- Support the installation of structures, materials, and infrastructure as directed by supervisors
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and procedures
- Load, unload, and transport materials around the construction site
- Follow detailed instructions from project managers and lead workers to complete tasks efficiently
- Assist with general labor duties as needed to support ongoing construction activities
Requirements
- Prior experience with heavy equipment operation is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Basic knowledge of paving techniques and construction practices is advantageous
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to safety protocols and procedures on the job site
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license is preferred for operating or transporting equipment or materials on-site
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120.00-$134.00 per day
