We are looking for a Tractor trailer (Class 1) Deliver Driver to be a part of our growing fleet team.

What does it take to be part of our team?
- A valid Class 1 License
- At least 1 year of commercial delivery experience within Manitoba
- Clean Driver’s Abstract OR with no traffic/transportation violations or major at-fault incidents in the past 5 years prior to applying
- Comfortable with using hand-held devices/technology-based tools in the transportation industry
- Ability to lift, pull, and carry up to 50 Lbs.
- Good communication skills
- Professional, good work ethic, and excellent customer service skills

Your Responsibilities:
- Properly load, secure, and transport cargo and goods within the City of Winnipeg and surrounding areas
- Safely and properly operate Semi/Tractor-Trailer - manual transmission
- Prompt reporting of vehicle defects, traffic violations, and work-related incidents
- Regularly perform vehicle trip inspections (pre and post) and accurately report the condition of the vehicle using Geotab
- Comply with applicable laws, company policies, procedures, standards, and safe practices
- Check the completeness of all load-related documentation
- Communicate with customers and the RS Team in a professional manner
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of truck and trailer
- Report promptly to dispatch/supervisor any service issues (ex. customer concerns, equipment or delivery glitches)
- Working with curtain sides considered as asset
Required During Recruitment:
- Commercial Driving Abstract (issued within last 30 days)
- Professional references
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check (at candidate’s expense)
Hours of Work (DAY SHIFT):
- 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime after 40 hours (per week)
- Home everyday
- Paid hourly training
