Founded in 1952 the Ingersoll Golf Club is a semi-private facility that offers memberships and public play, tournaments, banquets and weddings. As one of Southwestern Ontario’s premier facilities we cater to groups of all sizes and offer outstanding grounds and facilities to host all sizes of events.
We are looking for motivated and reliable
Clubhouse Serving Staff
for the 2026 golf season
The successful candidate should be passionate about customer service and the food and beverage industry
Responsibilities:
- Counter service provided on a daily basis to golf patrons
- Advise on the best food and drink choices for each customer and answer questions
- Take orders and deliver them to the table deftly and accurately
- Attend to the tables and guarantee compliance to cleanliness standards
- Deliver checks and accept payment
- Work with other staff as a team
- Work diligently to achieve outstanding service quality
- Event setup: May include moving tables and chairs
- Clubhouse cleaning as directed by supervisors and managers.
- Complete any other tasks as assigned by the Clubhouse Supervisor or Director of Operations
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a server, wait staff member
- Ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers to ensure mutual satisfaction
- Customer-oriented and planning skills required
- Working knowledge of POS and any ordering information system. If not a willingness to train on specified equipment and systems is required.
- Outstanding people skills
- Patient and friendly with demonstrated experience in problem solving
- Good physical condition
- High school diploma; food safety training will be a plus. SmartServe certificate would be beneficial as well
We offer competitive hourly compensation based on skills and qualifications, as well as golf playing privileges, merchandise discounts and staff meal discounts.
No public transportation is available - must have reliable transportation. Applicant will be required to work evenings and weekends. Weekly hours will fluctuate based on the seasonality of the position. Duration and hours may vary depending on length of season and daily weather conditions.
