Seol Hair — Barber/Hairstylist (Senior / Experienced)
Location: Prime Main location in Coquitlam — 5-minute walk to two SkyTrain stations (Lincoln centre and Douglas station) , 3-minute walk to Coquitlam Centre Mall. High foot traffic and excellent walk-in potential.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced barber/hairstylist (3+ years in-salon) who delivers exceptional haircuts, color, and styling. Ideal candidates are highly skilled, professional, and client-centered — Korean-style specialists are strongly preferred but not required. Existing clientele is a plus but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality haircuts, fades, shaves, coloring, perms, and styling for a diverse clientele
- Execute contemporary and classic Korean and Western styles with precision
- Consult with clients to understand needs, offer professional advice, and upsell appropriate services/products
- Maintain sanitation, product inventory, and cleanliness of station and salon
- Build and retain a loyal client base; manage bookings and follow-ups
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing education to keep skills current
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years professional in-salon experience
- Relevant cosmetology/barber license or certification
- Strong technical skills: precision cutting, clipper work, fades, razor work, color application, and styling
- Excellent communication, customer service, and time-management skills
- Professional appearance, punctuality, and reliability
- Portfolio of work (photos preferred); existing client list an asset
- Ability to work retail hours, evenings, and weekends as required
- Ability to speak Korean is a plus but not mandatory
