Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bath Tub Resurfacer to join our renovation and restoration team. This role involves transforming worn or damaged bathtubs into like-new condition through expert surface refinishing techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction-related fields, including carpentry, plumbing, and surface restoration, with a strong focus on quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Prepare bathtub surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer to ensure proper adhesion of refinishing materials
- Use hand tools such as sanders, scrapers, and caulking guns to remove old finishes and repair surface imperfections
- Apply high-quality coatings and finishes to restore the appearance of bathtubs, ensuring a smooth, durable surface
- Follow safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of chemicals and tools
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all tools and materials are properly stored after each project
Requirements
- Some experience in restoration work
- Familiarity with hand tools, caulking
- Ability to perform surface preparation and refinishing with attention to detail for high-quality results
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to interpret technical drawings or schematics
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and work in confined spaces as needed
- Prior experience with bathtub resurfacing or similar refinishing projects is preferred
