Job Summary:
East Coast Sheet Metal are one of the biggest HVAC and General Mechanical contractors based in Atlantic Canada, and have been executing large commercial ventilation projects since 1987.
We are seeking Welder to join our team at the shop located in Memramcook, NB.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to plan, layout, fit, assemble, and weld stainless steel, mild steel, (and aluminum occassionally)
- Interpret weld symbols and drawing notes to ensure all components are fabricated to specifications and tolerances.
- Knowledge of welding techniques, including gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux core arc welding (FCAW), and multi-pass welding
- Verify materials and finished products meet applicable standards and quality requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following company safety procedures and proper equipment handling.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Welding Black iron and Stainless Steel
- Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
- Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment
- Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
- Class 5 Drivers License and have own vehicle to travel to shop

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hours day shift Monday to Friday
