Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Station Road Dental for Fridays and 2 Saturdays per month. This role is essential in promoting oral health and providing high-quality care to our patients. New grads are welcome. You will play a vital part in our mission to improve lives through better dental hygiene.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings and provide preventive care to patients.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in Dentrix.
- Manage patient appointments and ensure a smooth flow of operations in the dental office.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
Requirements
- Registered Dental Hygienist with a valid license to practice in Canada.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Experience in dental assisting is an asset.
- Excellent customer service skills to enhance patient experience.
- Bilingualism is considered an asset but not mandatory.
