Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive outstanding service in a friendly and efficient manner. Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring all requests are noted.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all patrons.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any issues that may arise.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for processing transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining guest satisfaction.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members alike.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
