Position Overview
This internship is designed for individuals seeking a career in strength and conditioning, athletic performance, or golf performance training.
The successful candidate will gain extensive hands-on experience in athlete assessment, program design, coaching, business operations, and client management while working directly alongside experienced performance coaches.
For the right candidate, this internship serves as a pathway to a permanent full-time coaching position within our organization.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting coaches with client assessments and movement screenings
- Supporting the implementation of strength, mobility, speed, and power training programs
- Assisting with client onboarding and performance evaluations
- Preparing and organizing training sessions
- Coaching clients under the supervision of senior staff
- Assisting with program design and client progress tracking
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional facility
- Supporting daily business operations and client experience initiatives
- Assisting with marketing, community outreach, and growth initiatives
- Participating in ongoing education and professional development opportunities

Minimum Qualifications
- CPR/AED Certification (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
- Strong work ethic and professional attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, punctual, and coachable
- Passion for strength and conditioning, athletic performance, and golf
- Desire to build a long-term career in the performance industry
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Human Performance, Sport Science, or a related field
- NSCA-CSCS, NSCA-CPT, NASM, TPI, USAW, or similar certifications (or working toward certification)
- Previous coaching or training experience
- Competitive athletic or golf background
- Experience working in a gym, training facility, or performance environment
