We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to work with a professional team in a dynamic environment, utilizing your driving skills and knowledge of heavy equipment operation.
Duties
- Safely operate AZ licensed commercial trucks for local and regional freight deliveries
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Ensure all cargo is secured properly before transit
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks to ensure optimal operation
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during transportation activities
- Assist with automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues when necessary
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel to coordinate deliveries
Requirements
- Valid AZ Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Verified experience
- Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation, including forklifts
- Ability to operate or learn heavy machinery used in loading/unloading freight
- Basic automotive repair skills are a plus but not mandatory
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to DOT regulations
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving freight when required
- Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality for scheduled routes
