Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Insurance Broker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping clients identify and secure insurance solutions tailored to their individual needs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and negotiation skills, sales experience, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.
Bilingual abilities, especially in Mandarin and/or Cantonese, are highly valued to effectively serve our diverse client base and provide exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities through client outreach, referrals, networking, and sales activities
- Conduct client consultations to understand insurance needs and recommend suitable coverage options
- Provide personalized customer service and guide clients through policy options, coverage details, and insurance processes
- Analyze client requirements and recommend appropriate insurance products
- Manage sales administration tasks, including documentation, follow-ups, and policy updates
- Develop and implement strategies to promote insurance products and grow the client portfolio
- Conduct outbound communication activities to generate leads and schedule client appointments
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance products, industry trends, and market developments
- Negotiate terms with clients while ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction
- Communicate insurance information clearly and professionally in English
Requirements
- RIBO Level 1 license required
- Proven experience in insurance, sales, customer service, financial services, or related fields is preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly and professionally
- Mandarin and/or Cantonese proficiency is considered an asset due to our diverse client base and the need to support clients in their preferred language
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client relationships and priorities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with telemarketing, lead generation, or business development is an asset

Pay: $35,200.00-$118,480.73 per year
